Foundation/International Year 0 programs are programs for university preparation running on the premises of universities or language schools based on the requirements and preferences of a student.

On the premises of universities
Most universities offer their own foundation programs for international students. Programs are designed exclusively for foreign students who need an additional year to prepare for the university admission.
Foundation Year on the premises of a university is an excellent option if you have already made a choice of the university and are prepared for independent life since you may not live on the campus.

On the premises of secondary schools and language schools
Foundation programs offered on the premises of schools are delivered on the same quality level and run by the same standards as those offered on the premises of universities. The only difference is that if you choose a foundation program on the premises of schools, you will be accommodated either in a boarding school or in a language school. The programs also offer supervision of the underaged.
A distinctive feature of the Foundation or International Year 0 program at schools is that an applicant has an opportunity to apply to several universities at once upon completion of the program.

International Year 1 is an excellent choice if you have a high level of English and decided on the University and major. It will also be a great choice for those who completed their first University year in one of the CIS countries. Students will typically study 3-4 courses, depending on the pathway chosen or the intended progression degree, as well as English Language.

Course details:
- within one year a student completes both a preparation program and an undergraduate program;
- at the end of the program a student retakes the language test and exams;
- upon the program’s completion a student progresses to Year 2 of the university.
